Victory Park Capital Announces Promotions, Including Two New Managing Directors

CHICAGO – February 20, 2024 – Victory Park Capital (“VPC”), a global alternative investment firm specializing in private credit, today announced the promotions of several team members across the firm, including Kinan Hayani and Sora Monachino to Managing Director.
Richard Levy, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and Founder at VPC, said: “We are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of talented individuals, and we are pleased to recognize the advancement of several members of our team. Kinan Hayani joined VPC in 2015 and is primarily responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing, and managing investments across multiple strategies and industries, including financial services and technology.
Sora Monachino joined VPC in 2022 and leads investor relations for the Firm. She is actively involved in sourcing and fundraising for VPC funds and is responsible for marketing and communications for the firm.
VPC is also proud to recognize the promotions of the following individuals:
- Mark Smith has been promoted to Principal of Data Analytics. He is responsible for creating and maintaining performance and risk management analytic systems to support due diligence, monitoring, reporting, and structuring across VPC funds and their investments.
- Stefanie Kahan has been promoted to Senior Vice President. She is primarily responsible for investor relations, marketing, and communications and is actively involved in fundraising for VPC funds.
- Beth Bender has been promoted to Vice President. She assists the fund accounting team in the execution of accounting, finance, tax, audit, reporting, and treasury-related activities.
- Mike Salko has been promoted to Vice President. He is responsible for due diligence and financial analysis related to new investment opportunities and assists with portfolio monitoring and managing current investments.
- Cara Shumaker has been promoted to Director. She assists with accounting, finance, tax, audit, reporting, and treasury-related activities for various VPC funds.
- Michelle Sterne has been promoted to Director. She is responsible for monitoring and overseeing VPC’s portfolio companies.
