Victory Park Capital’s Olibia Stamatoglou Recognized as Notable Leader in DEI by Crain’s Chicago Business

CHICAGO – October 4, 2023 – Victory Park Capital (“VPC”), a leading global alternative investment firm specializing in private credit, is proud to announce that Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, Olibia Stamatoglou, has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as a 2023 Notable Leader in DEI. The list honors top Chicago area leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”).

Since joining VPC in 2019, Olibia has played a critical role in positively influencing firm culture. She created and implemented VPC’s Employee Engagement Program, which includes commitments to DEI and employee development. She also instituted corporate policies that include ongoing employee training and education related to DEI.
On an ongoing basis, Olibia coordinates with the Emerge Scholar Program to source diverse students for a VPC internship program. She also launched an annual “Day in the Life” program at VPC – a two-day immersive experience to educate high school students in underserved and underrepresented Chicago communities about career paths within investment management.
The Notable Leaders in DEI list was published in a special feature edition of Crain’s Chicago Business on October 2, 2023. The evaluation criteria featured assessments of significant and recent contributions to advancing equality within the workplace and/or within the Chicago area and demonstrated leadership in professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives. Olibia was also named among the 2023 Notable Leaders in Finance by Crain’s Chicago Business in August.
