Raul Vergara

Raul Vergara is a Senior Associate at Victory Park Capital (VPC). He joined VPC in 2023 and is responsible for due diligence and financial analysis related to new investment opportunities and assists with portfolio monitoring and managing current investments. Previously, Raul was an investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs’ financial institutions group in New York, where he focused on M&A, Debt, and Equity transactions for firms in the Fintech and Asset Management sectors. Prior to being an investment banker, Raul worked at the Central Bank of Mexico, focusing on policy and regulation for the retail payments market.

Raul received a BA in economics from Universidad Panamericana and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was a J. Chico Scholar.
