RALEIGH, N.C. — DECEMBER 7, 2010 — Headway Corporate Resources, a North American workforce solutions provider, today announced the sale and divestiture of its New York City based staffing services business unit to Global Employment Solutions of Denver, CO.

The move facilitates Headway’s strategy and commitment to continue its concentration on its North American workforce solutions business, which includes a variety of enterprise and project based recruitment and talent acquisition solutions, contingent workforce services, HR outsourcing and vendor on premise programs.

“Headway has mixed emotions on the sale of its long successful staffing operation in New York where Headway was founded in the 1970’s, however, the divestiture of this important, but non-core, transactional based business will accelerate and strengthen our position as a strategic workforce solutions provider,” stated Headway’s President and CEO, J.P. Sakey.

Headway will continue to maintain its New York based workforce solutions location with senior leadership headed by Kathy Cavanaugh, Executive Vice President. The operational transition is expected to be fully completed by January 1, 2011.
