Matthew Ray

Mr. Ray is a Partner and Co-founder of Victory Park.
Previously, Mr. Ray was a member of the Solutions Group at Magnetar Capital where he focused on direct financings to small cap and lower middle market companies. Prior to joining Magnetar Capital, Mr. Ray was on the Structured Investments team at Banc of America Securities where he focused on leveraged fund-linked transactions. Prior to Banc of America, he held various corporate and investment banking positions at SG Cowen where he specialized in leveraged corporate transactions. Mr. Ray received a B.S. in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Mr. Ray currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Silver Airways, Global Employment Solutions, Victory Park Resources, and Ascent Aviation Services where he previously served as the interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ray is also a member of the Board of Directors of Energy Maintenance Services Group I, LLC and Quality Oil Inc. Additionally, Mr. Ray represents Victory Park Capital on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Finance Association. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute.
