Derek Ferguson

Mr. Ferguson is an Investment Professional at Victory Park.
Previously, he was a Vice President with Maxim Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on entrepreneurial companies in the lower middle market. Prior to Maxim, Mr. Ferguson was with Wynnchurch Capital, a value-oriented Chicago-based private equity firm targeting special situations and complex acquisitions of middle market industrial, niche manufacturing and business services companies. Mr. Ferguson also spent time with private equity firm Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, and he began his career with the M&A Investment Banking division of J.P. Morgan Securities. Mr. Ferguson received an M.B.A., with a concentration in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Finance, with High Honors, from the University of Illinois.
